内容： 
クララ・ロックモア/テルミンの芸術世界初かつ異色の電子楽器テルミンの伝説的名手ロックモアが、ピアノの伴奏でクラシックの名曲を中心に弾いたアルバム。。楽器の発明者レオン・テルミン博士の波乱に満ちた生涯を描いた映画の日本公開も話題となりましたが、このロックモアもそこに大きく絡む人物として注目されました。演奏はアンテナ状の突起に手をかざすのみで触れず、また奏者や状況により音色も大きく変わってしまうという特殊性を持つこの楽器。この独特の音色に多くのミュージシャンが惹かれましたが、演奏の困難さもあいまって、大抵が効果音的な使用に止まるところ(有名なものはビーチボーイズの「グッド・バイヴレーション」、SFや怪談ものの効果音)、このアルバムでは音程はもちろん、ダイナミクスやアーキティレイションも自在に操り、それぞれの作品をしっかりと聴かせてくれるところは驚嘆、いや、女性の低いハミングにも似た音色ということもあり、ほとんど不気味です。世界中のテルミン愛好家のバイブル的存在として、有名な1枚。
